King deal collapse?

King deal collapse?
Roy Hodgson has wasted no time bringing in more foreigners on the cheap from tiny and remote places.

The latest is former Kansas City Wizard's striker, Eddie Johnson. A full U.S.A cap, Johnson will move to South London, subject to medical.

This follows the news that the Cottagers are in talks with striker Daniel Cousin from Rangers and Norweigan international striker, Eric Nevland.

Oh, and legendary Fin forward, Jari Litmanen. That's 36 year-old Litmanen formerly of pathetic clubs such as Liverpool and Barcelona and now Ajax where he is on the books. A deal that Hodgson hopes to tie up in the next 24 hours.

So with another four strikers on their way in, plus Healy, Kamara, Kuqi, McBride and maybe Collins John at Craven Cottage, does Marlon stand a chance? Or are we going to be left with a player who has just 3 years left of his career?

Hahaha. The deal is 3mill + 1mill performance related incentives [and Wigan staying up...unlikely...] We'd rather take him on a free at the end of the season - or for a realistic price, whatever you prefer!
