Johnno no go

Johnno no go
Middlesbrough assistant Malcolm Crosby has today spoken out about the future of loan man, Adam Johnson.

The young winger is enjoying life at Vicarage Road and has just over a month remaining on his loan contract. Due to his sparkling form down the left, Boothroyd has been quoted as saying he'd like to make the loan longer. However, Crosby has today come out to block any chance of that happening:

'All season [loan] won't happen.

'Adam's been treated fantastically well by Watford and if we were in a winning run you'd be happy for him to stay there.

'But in the near future we may call him back, even before his three months are up. We might need him with us.'

Johnson's four goals whilst at Vicarage Road have helped the Hornets to the top of the league and kept Jobi McAnuff out of the side.

It is also believed that Johnson's recall to the Riverside is imminent as 'Boro continue their slide down the table.

Vital Watford wish 'Johnno' all the best in his future career whether it be in red or yellow...
