Hendo on the way out?

 Hendo on the way out?
Preston and Sheffield are locked in a battle to sign Watford striker Darius Henderson according to various sources.

Henderson, who was a 450,000 capture from Gillingham in the 05/06 close season, struggled to make an impact in the Premiership despite scoring 15 goals in getting the Hornets promoted.

There is no disguising the fact that Adie Boothroyd is on the lookout for more firepower to partner Marlon King having had failed to tempt Heider Helguson and DJ Campbell to the Vic.

Dr Watford says:

For many it would be a mistake to let Darius leave especially given his championship experience and target man qualities. I wouldn't expect to see this as a 'cheap' move for either Preston or Sheff Wed as Hendo brings more to the table than the 2m+ targets we are looking to bring in.
