Man In The Middle: Darren Bond

Man In The Middle: Darren Bond
Ahead of Watford's home clash to Reading this weekend, Darren Bond is the appointed referee for the second meeting of the two sides this season.

Last week's refereeing from Brendan Malone was interesting to say the least, with Hoban being questionably sent off for two yellows, and a debatable red card for hand contact on Forestieri from Sako, which has now been overturned by the FA.

Bond from Lancashire, has took the reins of thirty-one fixtures this season, with nine of them coming from the Championship.

In them thirty-one clashes, he has produced eighty-five and dismissed five players, and only one two out of them thirty-one games he has failed to book a player.

His last clash he had to referee was in Sky Bet League Two as in-form Burton Albion defeated helpless Hartlepool United on the Monkey Hangers' home soil.

Watford's last fixture Bond was in charge of was the Hornets' 5-0 home win over Charlton Athletic in January, only two cards were issued, with both Andre Bikey and Chris Solly for the Addicks being shown yellow.

Meanwhile, Dumitru-Ravel Cheosiaua and Andy Hendley will assist Bond with Rob Lewis being inbetween the two dugouts as fourth official.
