Loan Watch: Ikpeazu Nets For Crewe

Loan Watch: Ikpeazu Nets For Crewe
Taking time to look away from that disappointing defeat to Huddersfield, we have a look at how some of the Watford players out on loan got with their clubs.

Uche Ikpeazu- Crewe Alexandra: The nineteen year old was in the starting team for Crewe, as Steve Davis' side strolled to victory against managerless Gillingham, in the Sky Bet League One.

Nicky Ajose opened the scoring for Crewe from the penalty spot, to then enter half time with a two goal lead.

Gillingham pulled one back, but thanks to Ikpeazu he pounced on the rebound of his first shot which was saved to slot home and secure all three points.

Well done Uche!

Alex Jakubiak- Dagenham and Redbridge: Other young striker, Alex Jakubiak, who is on loan at League Two side, Dagenham and Redbridge, was on the bench until called upon in the seventy-sixth minute, during their stalemate with Oxford United.

He extended his loan spell with Wayne Burnett's side this week but coming off the bench, Jakubiak didn't really have any clear cut chances as the game finished 0-0 against the club he recently had a loan spell at also.

Jorrell Johnson- Hemel Hempstead Town: The Tudors welcomed Concord Rangers on their home soil for the FA Trophy Second Round, with Johnson in the starting team for Hemel.

Johnson had a good chance early in the first half for the home side, as he headed over from a cross, but didn't have many other golden opportunities in the game, as the Tudors booked their place in the next round of the FA Trophy, after a 3-1 victory.
