Opposing View: Brighton & Hove Albion
How has the season panned out compared to your expectations?
With all the pre-season turmoil and having an 'unknown' head coach [Oscar Garcia] I thought we may be struggling for a mid-table place, however you always hope that with the quality players we have that we will hit the Play-Offs.
Gut instinct: will Brighton be in the top six come May & if not, where will they finish?
If we sign a couple before end of the transfer window yes, if we don't 7-9th.
How did the January transfer window go for Brighton?
Sunderland [now under the management of former Albion boss Gus Poyet] have been after Liam Bridcutt and Will Buckley, and if the interest is real, I hope they go. Bridcutt has been totally unprofessional and he can clear off up north to get relegated! [At the time of writing, Bridcutt had not left, he now has, so Samantha got her wish! - Ed]
As for Buckley, he is a very good player but a constant sick note.
After a slow start, Brighton are pushing on: have the players adapted to the subtle changes of Oscar Garcia yet?
I would like to know what the subtle changes are!
We still don't get enough men forward quickly enough but at least we don't constantly try playing out from the back costing us cheap goals.
Who will be your key player?
It has to be Leandro Ulloa for his goals, although Andrea Orlandi - if he stays fit - is important for his creativity.
Any injuries or suspensions?
We`re still waiting for Craig Mackail-Smith to regain match fitness after a year out and Will Hoskins has just started training again. Andrew Crofts is out for the rest of the season when he was having his best season for sometime by a country mile.
We don't concede many and Watford don't score many, so Watford 0-1 Brighton, hopefully!
