Opposing View: Bournemouth
How has the season panned out in comparison with your expectations?
It's been pretty much as expected, I thought there would be quite a few teams that we would be in a position to compete with and quite a few teams who would have a clear step up in quality, especially those who have been competing for promotion to the Premier League or having recently been there.
The aim all season has been to consolidate at this level and hopefully aim to slowly progress and grow into a league we haven't played in for 20 years.
Any business done in the January transfer window & any more anticipated?
We have seen quite a few departures already: Wes Thomas has been sold to Rotherham, whilst Miles Addison has also made the move to Rotherham on loan, with Matt Tubbs returning to Crawley on loan.
There could also be a few more departures with a lot of fringe players not featuring under Howe.
[Lewis Grabban has since entered talks with Brighton & Hove Albion after they triggered his release clause - Ed.]
As for possible new signings, Howe keeps these things very close to his chest so we're unlikely to hear anything until someone is holding up a red and black striped shirt. It's thought we might attempt to sign a striker but there have been very few rumours.
How have Bournemouth changed - if at all - from the side beaten 6-1 at the Vic' in August?
We've grown into the league as expected really. We still play nice attractive football with exciting wing play and sometimes play either one or two up front.
The players have just gained experience at this level, whilst the signing of goalkeeper Lee Camp has helped to settle the defence.
Your home form is pretty strong: why is that?
No particular reason and really over the last couple of months our away form has seen us collect more points.
Last four home league games - 5 points
Last four away league games - 7 points
Who will be your key man on Saturday?
Eunan O'Kane, midfielder who has really hit form in recent weeks in a new deeper midfield role in front of the back four.
No new fresh problems at time of writing.
Considering your form since September I`d be hopeful of taking something from the game.
