Watford Rumour Mill #2

Watford Rumour Mill #2
Following yesterday's suggestion that out-of-contract goalkeeper Manuel Almunia could depart for Valencia, the future of out-of-contract skipper John Eustace is up in the air today.

Eustace, 33, is in the same situation as Almunia, having not been included on the club's list of departures earlier this month.

The Solihull-born enforcer has today been linked with a move to League One outfit Swindon Town by The Swindon Advertiser.

Last season was a virtual write-off for Eustace who was plagued by a back injury which saw him feature just a handful of times in the Championship.

On Wednesday the Watford Twitterati were whipped into a state of hysteria after news of the potential signing of Real Madrid B forward, Javier Acuna.

The 25 year-old has spent the last two seasons on loan at Liga Adelante side Girona, scoring 22 goals in 33 league starts.

Sky Sports News had been first to link the Paraguayan with Watford, but now Spanish journalist Joan Guirado has revealed that Acuna has been in England tying up the loose ends on the deal.

Below is a video compilation of some of Acuna's goal for Girona this season.
