Man In The Middle: Mark Haywood

Watford's referee on Saturday against Derby County will be Mr Mark Haywood of west Yorkshire.

Mr Haywood has taken charge of 27 Football League and Cup matches this season, handing out 67 yellow cards.

In those 27 games, Mr Haywood has only dished out two red cards, but they have come in his last three games - Notts County v Sheffield United and Colchester United v Preston North End.

Watford have been under Mr Haywood's command once already this season - the 2-1 defeat by Hull City at the beginning of December.

Only 12 referees to have taken charge of a Championship game have sent off less players than Mr Haywood this season.
