Short and Tweet: Crystal Palace (H)

Watford threw away a two-goal lead at home to Crystal Palace last night, blowing the opportunity to move second for the second time this season.

A well-taken strike from Almen Abdi and Nathaniel Chalobah's header had the hosts header before Palace rallied.

Peter Ramage scored the Eagle's first before old-boy Kevin Phillips equalised off the bench to steal a point.

Here are a selection of our favourite post-match #shortandtweet thoughts on the game from Twitter.

Remember to follow @VitalWatford and any like-minded Hornets!

@Ancienthornet1 'The worst ive seen us play all season in the 2nd half. The team looked lethargic couldnt string 2 passes together. Was crap.

@adamlusty '#watfordfc superb 1st half, CP as good in 2nd. Zola got subs/tactics wrong as CP were overrunning us out wide #shortandtweet'

@NicktheHornet' 3rd in the table, 4 points off Palace this season and another game undefeated. Could be a very useful point #shortandtweet'

@HughesJosh10 'Another reality check for all Watford fans. Oh, and Palace fans, if Watfords a shithole, you obvs don't live around Croydon.'

@HayleyBrunsden 'We dominated in the first half, as Palace did in the second. A draw was, in all, a fair result. #shortandtweet'

@LuxWFC 'Deeney + Vydra link up so well, but never happened today. 2nd half Palace fought back and we capitulated. But disallowed goal?'

@_suits_you_sir 'We took 4 points off palace holloway can shut it after that interview Had a lot of time for him #notanymore.'

@MKlinteberg 'Disappointed - chasing promotion must not lose a two goal lead at home - fair result, however #shortandtweet'

@tomsmith159 'TYPICAL WATFORD !!!!!!!!!!'

@chunkyefe 'Tough to take but we were holding onto dear life after our second goal.'
