Internationals: Murray's Ireland beat Holland

Midfielder Sean Murray helped the Republic of Ireland's U21 side to victory over Holland last night.

Murray, 19, started in midfield for Noel King's side who enjoyed a memorable 3-0 win over their Dutch counterparts.

A brace from Aiden O'Brien and one from Anthony Forde secured the win.

In senior action, Matej Vydra won his fifth full Czech Republic cap, starting for Michael Bilek's side.

Vydra started up front for the Czech Republic who defeated Turkey 2-0 away from home.

Goals from Ladislav Krejci and David Lafata secured the win with Vydra replaced by Borek Dockal after 56 minutes.

Nyron Nosworthy's Jamaica drew 0-0 in Mexico in their World Cup 2014 qualifier.

Nosworthy played the full 90 minutes alongside former Watford team-mate Adrian Mariappa.

Another ex-Hornet, Jobi McAnuff, was also part of the Reggae Boyz's side whilst fellow former 'Orn Theo Robinson came on as a sub.

Finally, Cristian Battocchio started for Italy's U20s in their 'Four Nations' match against Germany.

Battocchio was replaced at half-time by Stefano Beltrame with goals from Leonardo Bittencourt and Sead Kolasnic securing the win.
