Loan watch: Garner's Carlisle exit FA Cup

Loan watch: Garner's Carlisle exit FA Cup
Joe Garner was the only Hornet in action for his loan club in the Football League this weekend with the F.A Cup 2nd Round in full swing.

Garner started and played the full 90 minutes for Greg Abbott's Cumbrians who were knocked out by Bournemouth.

Carlisle were beaten 3-1 thanks to goals from Wes Fogden, Eunan O'Kane and Marc Pugh.

Mark Beck pulled a 72nd minute goal back for the hosts.

That Garner was allowed to feature for his loan club in the F.A Cup suggests his Hornet's future will be short-lived.

In non-league action, Aaron Tumwa played the full 90 minutes at centre-half for Wealdstone in their 2-1 win over Hendon.

Goals from Lee Chappell and Nathan Webb won the tie for the Uxbridge side.

Matt Bevans made his fourth appearance for Chesham United, who beat Banbury United 3-1 at home.

The Generals have lost just once in four games since Bevans joined on-loan.
