'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Short and Tweet: Sheffield Wednesday (A)

WATFORD completed an unbeaten November at Hillsborough last night as they romped past Sheffield Wednesday 4-1.

The sorry Owls took the lead in just the third minute through Michail Antonio before Fernando Forestieri equalised a quarter of an hour later.

Daniel Pudil then brought down Jay Bothroyd in the penalty area, only for Manuel Almunia to deny Chris Lines fro 12 yards.

Watford then took the lead when Alex Geijo scored his first for the club with a free header.

Substitute Troy Deeney added a third before Mark Yeates' stunning finish off the outside of his boot killed the game once and for all.

Unsurprisingly, the Twitterati was pleased afterwards. Here are a selection of our favourite tweets from last night:

@MrPryer 'I might be getting carried away but suggest we are probably a touch ahead of where Reading were 12 months ago!'
