'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Opposing View: Huddersfield Town

Vital Huddersfield ed. 'Terrier24' gives us the lowdown on Town...

What were your hopes, fears & expectations for the season?

Quite simply to stay in the division!

Simon Grayson went fairly big on Championship experience signing the likes of Sean Scannell, Adam Clayton, Keith Southern etc - how important has their know-how been?

Massive impact by all so far, We really look a tight knit unit. Southern has been instrumental with the more physical side of the game that has allowed the others to express themselves.

The loss of Jordan Rhodes - a massive blow or something to galvanise the rest of the troops into taking responsibility?

A blessing in disguise - 8 million pounds better off and the team has had the shackles taken off with goals now coming from everywhere, two 3-1 away wins consecutively!

Second-top of the league at this point - beyond your wildest dreams?

Not even the most loyal of Town fans would have imagined we would be second after 7 games - our hope is that we can continue this great form.

Who will be the key man on Saturday?

It really is a team display every week thus far but watch out for Oliver Norwood and James Vaughan.

One player you'd drive to his next club given half a chance & why?

We got rid of a lot of these in the summer but I'd still see Alan Lee out of the door & Anton Robinson, has just never happened for the pair of them here.

One Watford player you'd pinch in an ideal world & why?

Troy Deeney, unpredictable striker - that been said I doubt he would currently get into our side!

How will you line-up on Saturday?

Smithies; Hunt, Clarke, Gerrard, Dixon; Clayton, Southern, Norwood; Ward, Novak; Vaughan.

Its a 4-3-2-1 formation but it gives great fluidity as we can be 4-5-1 at times and 4-3-3 when going forward. Teams have struggled against us thus far.

Match prediction?

You have to win your home games!

Huddersfield 3 - 1 Watford

Cheers Terrier24 - has any club ever been pleased with Alan Lee's services?!
