What does the future hold for - Tom James?

As the season draws to a close, it`s time for players, managers and the relevant hierarchy to sit down and discuss the future of certain players. In this series Vital Watford look at the futures of those who are out of contract, out of favour, or only on-loan at Vicarage Road.

This week it`s the turn of Tom James. Get involved by commenting below to let us know whether or not you agree or disagree.

It`s hard to judge a player that has basically not been put in the spotlight, bar a handful of minutes against Bradford City in the FA Cup 3rd round so this will be a short one.

However, the fact that James, like Chez Isaac, has extended his initial contract has to be a sign of development and for the peanuts he must be on, it has to be worth pursuing this avenue if the club believe he is up to professional football at this point.

If nothing else, he has the will of the fans (or at the very least myself), we all love the romance of a player being plucked out of the non, non-league`s afterall!

Give him another year if he`s progressed well.
