Walker scores on Scunthorpe debut

Josh Walker bagged on his debut in Scunthorpe's 1-1 draw at Colchester.

The 22 year-old midfielder saw the paperwork from his loan deal go through in time to start for the Iron at Colchester and got the opener just eight minutes in.

Ironically, Walker's only goal whilst he was on-loan at Stevenage was against Scunthorpe.

A Steven Gillespie equalizer denied the former 'Boro man a perfect debut as John Ward's side clung on for a point.

Elsewhere in League One, Dale Bennett got another 90 minutes under his belt for Brentford.

The Bees drew 0-0 at home to Walsall. Piero Mingoia, also on-loan at Griffin Park did not feature in the match-day squad.

At Yeovil, Rene Gilmartin helped the Glovers to a 2-1 win over Tranmere Rovers. Andy Williams notching a 90th minute winner for the Huish Park outfit.

Meanwhile, young Hornet's forward Gavin Massey completed his loan spell in Somerset, where he scored three goals from 15 appearances.

Finally, in the Blue Square Premier, Chez Isaac made his second appearance for Tamworth, coming on in the 66th minute of a 2-1 defeat by Wrexham.
