Hornets out to 'Nic' Romanian star

Though Watford might be heading out to Austria days after Euro 2008 end, it seems that Mr Boothroyd has his scouts out their already.

Never one to shy away from a foreign gem, Inverness forward Marius Niculae is apparently being tracked by both Watford and rivals Q.P.R.

Niculae nabbed eight SPL goals for Caley last season and has only a year left on his current contract North of the border.

Clubcall amongst several other fansites are reporting that the Romanian international would command a fee of around 800k. The question is, do we have that much in the coffers?!

Hmmm was distinctly unimpressed with him during the Romania - Holland game last night and if he can't cut it playing alongside someone of Mutu's quality then god help us if he's paired with Priskin!!!!

Hahah. Poor journalism here from me, I don't actually know anything about him other than the above - and I certainly haven't watched him scruntinisingly.
