Though yet to make a senior appearance for Liverpool, Martin made 17 starts for The MK Dons and 10 for Accrington Stanley whilst on loan at the Fraser Eagle Stadium.

David's background is sporting with his father Alvin Martin, having been a West Ham centre half back in the day. Martin is highly thought of at Anfield and any possible loan move would surely spell the end for Mart Poom or Richard Lee...

We need a Championship tryed & tested goalkeeper. This Liverpool keeper has no real Championship football under he's belt. Surly we don't think he will be another Ben Foster. Maybe he will but I'm not sure. Yes we do need a new, better keeper but is going down the loan route the thing to do. Maybe, maybe not. (1881 Forever)

If he's on the books at Liverpool he must be an highly rated keeper worthy of a chance in the Championship.
