Malky Mac-bye!

Malky Mac-bye!
First-team coach Malky Mackay evidently still has little idea about holding onto your best players.

The former Hoop-cum-Hornet told FansFC how big Dan had been crucial this campaign but wouldn't put a price on the centre back:

'He's under contract and it would be a big money signing,' former Celtic defender Mackay has said.

'As far as how much, God knows. Whether the club would want to sell him or not I don't know but everyone has their price.

'He's a big strong aggressive lad and playing for his country regularly now. Shittu scored a lot of goals for us this year, many of them from set pieces, and is probably one of the finest headers of a ball I've seen.

'He is learning the game all the time, is powerful and probably ideal for Scottish football.

'If you saw him in the flesh you would not believe the size of the man. He's huge. I'd say he's even wider than Bobo Balde. He's wide as the Clyde.'

Lets just hope that Rangers will be put off bidding for a player with the reccommendation of a former Parkhead player!

Why don't Aidy just say no!!! to selling Danny? We need him for a least one more season. I'm sure Danny would give it one more season with the golden boys. Danny is the type of player we could build a team around. Adiy do everything you can to keep him at Watford. (1881 Forever)
