Swedish international Lars Henning Joel Ekstrand signed on a season-long loan from Udinese on August 31 2012.
Joel Ekstrand, as a he is better known, arrives at the Vic' with one full Swedish cap under his belt, won against Syria in a friendly in 2010.
Ekstrand started his career with local side Lunds BK in 1997, his local club, before moving onto Swedish giants Helsingborgs IF.
Three years with Helsingborgs preceded a move to Udinese, where he has made 12 first-team appearances.
Contracted until 30 June 2013.
