Exciting homegrown attacking midfielder, Sean Murray burst onto the scene in the second-half of the 2011/12 season.

Local lad Murray made his first-team debut on the last day of the 2010/11 season against Queens Park Rangers before appearing against Nottingham Forest the following season, albeit briefly.

A Republic of Ireland youth international, Murray made his full debut for the club with a shock start against Tottenham Hotspur in the FA Cup 4th round in 2012. Playing superbly in a 1-0 defeat, and unlucky not to score Murray made himself a regular in Sean Dyche's side.

From there, the midfielder kicked on in a ring-wing berth and hit five goals in his next 10 games before signing a new contract until June 2015.

Murray had previously been subject of interest from Liverpool and Manchester City but elected to stay with Watford on the advice of his parents.

Contracted until June 30 2017.
