Irish winger Mark Yeates arrived at Vicarage Road on July 13 2011 for an undisclosed fee from Sheffield United.

Yeates started his career at White Hart Lane featured just three times in the league for the North Londonders before joining Colchester in 2007, initially on loan.

Impressive in Essex, Yeates joined Middlesbrough in 2009 under Gareth Southgate but switched to Bramall Lane the same season before falling out of favour under Gary Speed and latterly Mickay Adams last season as the Blades slipped into League One.

Watford's top assist-maker during his inaugural season in WD18, the Dubliner racked up 11 assists during his first season in yellow.

Contracted until June 30 2013.
