Creative central midfielder Stephen McGinn became a Hornet in January 2010, joining from St. Mirren from just 125k.

McGinn arrived as 'one for the future', and grabbed his chance the following season, becoming a regular in Malky Mackay's side.

Unfortunately, the same season, fate dealt the midfielder cruel blow as he suffered a season-ending knee ligament injury suffered at Doncaster in February 2011.

McGinn missed the entire of the 2011/12 season as a result of his injury, making his comeback in the development side towards the end of the season.

After a protracted contract saga, the midfield schemer put pen-to-paper on a brand new one year deal on July 10 2012, with the option of a further year on top of that.

On January 4 2013 McGinn moved out on-loan to League One Shrewsbury on-loan until April 27.

Contracted until June 30 2013.
