Watford head up to Teeside on Saturday to take on Gareth Southgate's Middlesborough outfit. The international break has come at the right time for the Hornet's who lost their previous two games at home to Coventry and Cardiff, shipping seven goals. With some hard work on at London Colney over the international break, and the pending return of Heidar Helguson, Malky's Hornet's are re-coiled and ready to spring!
Watford Skipper, Adrian Mariappa:
'We've had a couple of bad results but we are eager to put those right.
'Saturday is a big game for us, we'll be underdogs which I think will work in our favour and I think we can go up there and get a result.'
Emmanuel Pogatetz returned to the fold last time out against Reading, so should start again, whilst Chris Riggott is on the comeback trail after yet another injury.
Likely Lineup:
Jones
McMahon St Ledger Wheater Bennett
Yeates O'Neill Willams Johson
Lita Aliadiere
The former Hornet's loanee has been on fire this season after making his breakthrough last season.
Such was his rise to prominence last season that the tricky left-winger was preferred to Stewart Downing on the left, the 'Boro stalwart accomodated on the right. Johnson has been linked with both Real Madrid and Chelsea since the turn of the year, and if his impressive displays keep up, who knows?
11 League Apps + 5 Goals
Heidar Helguson could well be back in contention after missing the last three games with a calf problem. The Icelander has been working well towards recovery and we'll know his status nearer the game. Don Cowie may be suffering from jetlag after flying round the world to face Japan for the Scottish national side whilst Jay DeMerit is still out indefinitly with an eye problem.
Likely Lineup:
Loach
Hodson Mariappa (c) Bennett Doyley
Cowie Eustace Jenkins Cleverley
Lansbury
Graham
Former 'Boro boy will no doubt be out to prove exactly why the Teesider's were wrong to let him join Carlisle on a free before subsequently joining the Hornets.
The Golden Boys top scorer so far this term, 'Golden Graham' is also the third highest scorer in the Coca Cola Championship.

Mr Scott Mathieson
Middlesborough should win due to the Hornet's form and the experience in the home side, however the fans are not on Gareth Southgate's side and if they don't notch early doors, it could be a frustrating afternoon at the Riverside.
A trip to sinking Ipswich Town this Tuesday, 20th of October.
