Tommy edging closer to the Top 10

Watford midfielder Tommy Smith earned himself 46 points - the joint highest score of the week - in the latest Actim Index standings, the official player ratings system of the Coca-Cola Championship.

Smith took his tally for the season to four goals with a brace in the 3-0 win against Wanderers and that helped him to his best score of the season so far and moved him up 13 places in the index.

The ex-Derby County player is now 12th in the overall standings and is the highest-ranked Watford player - four places above Lloyd Doyley who scored 16 points for his part in the Wolves victory.

Analysis of all Championship games is taking place throughout the season and so far the top five Watford players are:

Marlon King/26th/9th Ranked Striker/357

Jordan Stewart/30th/7th Ranked Defender/346
