Hoskins lost in the Forest

Will Hoskins` Watford hell looks to finally be over todayas he joins Nottingham Forest on emergency loan.

The former Rotherham forward has been back at Vicarage Road long enough to secure a deal which could see him join the Tricky Trees permanently at the end of the season. Hoskins has enjoyed two loan spells at Millwall this season and has been a regular on the scoresheet at the New Den under former 'Orn, Kenny Jackett.

Since arriving from Rotherham United last season for a combined fee of 1.2million with Lee Williamson, the striker has failed to find the net in a Yellow shirt, in fairness however, Sir Aidy has used the Nottingham-born frontman sparingly, and often as a wideman.

Aidy Boothroyd last week commented that Will was a player who had 'failed to meet his expectations of him` since signing last January.

Hoskins will link up with Calderwood`s side on Friday and will compete with Nathan Tyson, Grant Holt and the returning Junior Agogo for a starting place at the City Ground. Should Forest want to make the deal permanent, it will cost them 500k according to certain sources.

Looked a really good player when you snapped him up last season.

Yep. Showed potential in the Prem, but Aidy loves his ego and decided as the messiah he could convert him into a winger which has not happened and hoskins has since been proving himself as a forward in league one, a mis-managed talent.
