Duo set for Italian job

Watford duo Ashley Young and Chris Eagles have been included in Peter Taylor’s under-21 Football League squad to face their Italian counterparts at Hull City’s KC Stadium on Feb 21.

The pairing, alongside side felloe Hornet Anthony McNamee, was included in the provisional 33-man squad that was announced last month, which has been reduced to a party of 21. Watford winger Anthony McNamee has been placed on stand-by for the match that will see the best young talent from the Football League take on their Italian counterparts from Serie B.

The match is the thirteenth of its kind; the most recent match took place in Italy in November 1998 which saw the teams draw 1-1.
