'If It's Football, It's Vital'

O'Toole extends stay

For the second time this season, we at VitalWatford are able to report youngster John-Joe O'Toole has signed a new contract.

Having signed his first pro' deal earlier in the season having impressed in pre-season, O'Toole has now comitted until 2011.

In what is his first full season at the club, O'Toole has earnt rave reviews for his committed, all-action displays, even chipping in with a couple of goals.

Speaking having put pen-to-paper, O'Toole has this to say to the official Hornets site:

'It's not often a players signs two contracts a year but I like to think that shows the manager must have faith in my and I'm thankful for that.

'I'm looking forward to improving with Ireland Under-21s as well as Waford,'


O'Toole also broke into the Republic of Ireland's U21 squad for the first time and notched, on debut to earn their first win of the qualifying campaign.

A decent prospect certainly. Puts it about, scores when it matters and is certainly prepared to gamble. Time will tell.
