Former Hornets on the move

Two former Hornets have made moves this week as transfer window activity hots up:

Paul Mayo - the poor man`s Paul Robinson - has joined Division 2 play-off chasers Darlington on a month`s loan from Notts County despite playing 20 league games for the Magpies so far this season.

The ex Watford left back played 27 times for the Hornets after a £65k move from hometown club Lincoln City before rejoined the Imps on a free transfer.

Mayo goes straight into the Darlo squad to face Bury.

One time Watford striker Jason Norville has put to pen to paper on a deal with Conference side Woking after being released by Barnet. The Trinidad and Tobago striker is contracted to the Kingfield outfit until the end of the season.

Norville had plenty of pace in his time as Vicarage Road but didn`t quite have the quality to match his fast feet and ended up playing just 15 games - scoring just 1 goal - after making his debut v Bradford in October 2001
