Watford join race for Black Cat Kav

Watford boss Aidy Boothroyd is reportedly keen on signing up Sunderland`s Republic of Ireland midfielder Graham Kavanagh, who is free to leave the Stadium of Light this month, if web sources are to be believed.

The former Middlesborough, Stoke, Cardiff and Wigan holding midfielder, nicknamed the Silver Fox, comes with bags of experience and has the welcome habit of scoring the odd goal now and then - with 65+ career goals to his name

In fact Kavanagh scored for Sheffield Wednesday [whilst on loan] against Watford earlier this season and looked a class act.

With 16 international caps to his name, the experienced Irishman is in high demand with Leicester, Norwich , Derby, Sheffield Wednesday and Watford all chasing his signature.

Snapped up by Sunderland for £500k, Roy Keane is apparently keen to command a fee in the region of £600k for Kavanagh which could price him out of reach of a few potential suiters.

sky sports said that keane was letting him go for free so i think you should check your facts, although he would be an awesome signing, wealth of experience, talent and great at assists.
