'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Viva Las Vegas for Glory Hornet.

Former Watford Academy starlet Jamie Collins had a massive hand in ensuring that Havant & Waterlooville pulled off THE shock in the F.A Cup Third Round as the non leaguers held runaway Division 1 leaders Swansea to a 1-1 draw at The Liberty Stadium.

Roberto Martinez's high-flying Swans were odds-on favourites to beat the Blue Square Conference South side, but midfield general Collins - who has played alongside the likes of Villa's Ashley Young, Bolton's Heider Helguson and Hameur Bouazza of Fulham in Watford's youth and reserves team - and an 86th minute strike by former Luton forward Rocky Baptiste made sure the Hawks held out for a draw and a place in the good ol' velvet bag for Round 4.

And now the former England youth international has a shot at the big time and the bright lights if they can win the replay! Liverpool await the winners in Round 4 (should Rafa's men get past Luton [easy]) and even the Hawks spotlight grabbing chairman has promised to pack the squad off to Las Vegas should they send Swansea back to Wales empty handed!

Well, you wouldn't bet against it would ya.

23 year old midfield general Collins was released by Hornets boss Aidy Boothroyd in the early days of his reign in the Hornets hotseat on a day that the Havant star describes as 'devastating', after being earmarked for great things.

Since joining the Hawks two years ago, he has made 81 appearances for Shaun Gale's men, after ex Watford striker Dean Holdsworth plucked him out of the wilderness.
