Warnock : We got more than Watford
Crystal Palace boss Neil Warnock let his eagle-eyed ego run away with him, claiming his young Eagles have now got the measure of Watford despite seeing his troops dumped out of the FA Cup at Vicarage Road.
Aidy Boothroyd`s Glory Hornets enjoyed 60% possession and had plenty of chances to add to Danny Shittu`s double winning headers in a game dubbed by the Daily Mail as "men versus boys in EVERY sense of the word".
But Warnock wasn`t having any of it claiming "I think we`ve got more out of the game than Watford, if I`m honest. I think next time we come we could give them a good game… it could be one to whet the appetite".
The Eagles supremo went on to add that his side gifted Watford the 2 goals thanks to suspect defending and added "…I don`t see many other chances that Watford had, apart from the two free headers".
Well that may be so Mr Warnock but Mssrs Henderson, McAnuff, Stewart and Francis would all disagree with you as they rattled in shots at Scott Flinders.
