QPR 'couldn't afford' loyal Lloyd !

Watford gaffer Aidy Boothroyd has told the ever-so-informative people down at the Watford Observer that right back (and undoubted football genius) Lloyd Doyley "is not going anywhere" amid reports of a potential £500k offer from QPR.

Boothroyd has issued the hands off warning to the money men at Loftus Road as he prepares his troops for the visit of the not-so-super Hoops tomorrow [Saturday]. He reckons the fifth richest family in the world - who now run QPR - couldn`t afford the ever present full back even if he was for sale, stating "they haven`t got enough money to buy him anyway".

Doyley, a product of Watford`s youth academy, has been at the club since he was 11 years old and is an established, consistent and reliable face in the Hornets back-line. Lloyd said "It`s nice to be linked but I`m a Watford player and I`ve still got another year and a half to run on my contract".

Loyalty is everything Lloyd and you should be rewarded with a contract extension.
