Jones Moans

Jones Moans

Cardiff City boss Dave Jones pulled no punches yesterday afternoon in his post-match assesment of his sides draw against the 'Orns.

The one-time Wolves boss laid the dropped points sqaurely at the feet of stand-in referee Ian Bentley. Bently who as a late replacement played twice as much injury time as allotted leading to Jobi McAnuff's leveller.

'I'd love a watch like his...you could stay younger a lot longer. The kit man could have done a better job than him. He told Roger Johnson to give him a break because he's not refereed at this level.'

'People will say I'm making excuses and moaning about a referee but they've got to be better than him.'

'This was a big game for us and it's probably cost us two points.'

So much for goodwill to all men during this festive period eh?!
