'If It's Football, It's Vital'

The Cat aint in the bag

According to everyone's favourite unreliable rumour site, Tribal Football, Watford have had a approach for Lee Cattermole turned down.

The Boro hardman man his debut for the Teesider's a couple of years back and is rated highly in the North East of England. Despite Fabio Rochemback's obvious incapabilities and George Boateng's poor performances, Cattermole has been restricted in first team chances this year.

Perhaps Tribal were looking at adding two and two together (Mahon leaving, Cattermole not playing), but evidently their schoolboy maths failed them as they came out with five.

Cattermole might not yet be a Riverside regular, but I think few would bet against it in a few seasons time.

Merry Christmas to all VitalWatford readers, we hope you enjoyed your turkey as much as we did ours...
