Jobi strike Anuf to see off Owls

Jobi strike Anuf to see off Owls

A classy 6th minute strike for Watford left winger Jobi McAnuf was enough to earn all 3 points for Watford at Hillsborough.

The £1.75m man netted his first goal for the Hornets following a lovely defense splitting throughball by Nathan Ellington.

The 1-0 close fought victory saw Watford back to the best going forward in the first half whilst the second 45 minutes was all about blood and thunder defending to keep a clean sheet.

Other Results went the Hornets way and Watford go back to the top of the Championship, after only a week's absense.
