For those Glory Hornet followers who reckon Sir Aidy Boothroyd should wave some used notes under the nose of boro boss Gareth Southgate in return for Adam Johnson, well, think again guys.
Middlesborough have issued a strict 'hands off` warning to potential suiters of the England U21 star and are expected to turn down a £5.5m bid from Tottenham for the nippy winger, who had such an impact at Vicarage Road.
