Work Permit Submitted

Following yesterday's dramatic turnaround in the case of midfielder Al Bangura, Watford have today submitted his work permit application.

Bangura now faces another agonizing wait until early January sometime where he will face a personal hearing at which the decision of his application will be announced.

Things are looking up for the Sierra Leone ace who normally would have been denied the chance to even apply for a work permit.

However, tireless work from Graham Simpson, local MP Claire Ward and last but by no means least, Bangura's legal team, have seen this turnaround in the last 48 hours.

The 10,000 strong petition, taken to Liam Byrne of the home office yesterday can be viewed and signed
