Home Office meeting for Watford

In a showdown to the rival the damp squid that was Hatton versus Floyd Muchbetter, a delegation from Watford FC will today scrap it out with the Minister of State for Immigration, Nationality and Citizenship, in support of Al Bangura`s appeal against deportation.

After the media hype was pushed up a notch with Lib Dem MP Mark Outen pushing through an early morning motion to discuss with Home Secretary Jacqui Smith and David Blunkett throwing his not too inconsiderable weight behind Bangura`s campaign, a private meeting has been set up with Home Office minister Liam Byrne in Westminster at 12.30 today.

Headed up by Watford chairman Graham Simpson and Watford MP Claire Ward, the Hornets delegation will present a petition to Mr Byrne - Labour MP for Birmingham Hodge Hill.

Here at VitalWatford, we urge Mr Byrne to honour his christian values and seriously consider the implications of deporting Al Bangura on traditional family values.
