Save Al Bangura - 9,700 and counting

The Save Al Bangura petition set up by our good friends and fellow avid Watford supporters at gloryhorns.co.uk is set to top 9,700 online signatures by the end of the day!

That means in just 24 hours, a staggering 600 new names, from right across the football world, have been added to the list of support behind Watford midfielder Al Bangura in his fight to remain in the UK despite calls for his deportation.

Sierra Leone born Bangura, had fled his home country at the age of just 15 amid fears that he may be mutilated and to escape the threats of witchcraft.

Here at VitalWatford, we beg you to throw your support behind Al Bangura, a person who is a law abiding member of the Watford community, has paid 40% tax on his salary since being signed by the club and now has a new-born son.

Let`s smash the 10,000 signature target and send a strong message to the government that community spirit amongst football fans in this country is alive and well!!!
