Teenage kicks for Watford in FA Cup

Teenage kicks for Watford in FA Cup

Crystal Palace boss Neil Warnock is likely to fly in the face of the cynics and try and 'win something with kids` when his side face Watford in a 3rd round FA Cup clash in January!

Warnock, who gave a number of his up n` coming starlets their Palace debuts in the 2-0 defeat to the Hornets in October, has weaned his eager youngsters into Championship life but reckons it`s time to get his teenage kicks in the glaring spotlight of Vicarage Road awash (?) with cup fever.

The Selhurst Park supremo said of hot prospects Victor Moses (17), Sean Scannell (17), Ryan Hall (19), John Bostock (15) and Lee Hills (17) "I`m sure everyone who comes to Watford will enjoy seeing them, even though the chairman desperately wants to win it.'

And Warnock, who has been unrelenting in his praise of Glory Hornet boss Aidy Boothroyd so far this season, went on to add "It will be a good opportunity to see them play against the strongest team in the league".

Here at VitalWatford Towers we know that, if Warnock gets his way, then the tie will be anything by childs play!
