HELP! Lionel reminds boss of Lennon

Watford`s wing trickster Lionel Ainsworth seriously impressed the Glory Hornet fans with his pace, crossing agility and willingness to take on a full back in his first start for Watford in the defeat against Plymouth but not so the gaffer, it seems.

Aidy Boothroyd took the surprising step to withdraw the young winger at half time despite the fact that the ex Hereford flyer was head and shoulders the most creative player on the park in what was a dire affair!

And Pilgrims left back Gary Sawyer would not have been sorry to be the back of him!

The Hornets gaffer said "Lionel [Ainsworth] came in and did reasonably well. He was never going to come in and be a regular…"

"He has got a bit to do but he`ll be a terrific player…He reminds me of Aaron Lennon".
