Mahon agrees deal to join QPR
VitalWatford are led to believe that Watford club captain Gavin Mahon has agreed to join Championship strugglers QPR for a fee of £150,000 when the transfer window opens in January.
Mahon, 30, who has played over 210 games for the Hornets after signing from Brentford for the £150K in March 2002, is out of contract in the summer, was dropped from the squad for Tuesday`s win at Colchester and has yet to be offered a new deal by Aidy Boothroyd.
The Daily Mail have also indicated that central midfielder Mahon will joined at Loftus Road by Sunderland striker Daryl Murphy who has also put pen to paper in a £2m move.
