'If It's Football, It's Vital'

George Rosson

Watford Football Club today received the sad news that a stalwart of it's past had recently passed away.

George Rosson was a Golden Boy for three years between 1946 and 1949 before he made a switch to nearby Wycombe Wanderers. After retirement, George reguarly lent his support to the modern days Hornets as a keen spectator at Vicarage Road. Today still his family are season ticket holders.

George passed away last Tuesday, the same night Aidy Boothroyd's men were beaten 2-1 by Burnley.

I'm sure all Watford fans will join me in passing their heart-felt condolences to everyone George knew...
