Watford's Aidy - It's only a blip!

Glory Hornets boss, Aidy Boothroyd still reckons his side are only going through a blip after yet another dull, dour, unimaginative, lacklustre defeat against Bristol City - a 3rd straight loss.

And it was the manner of the defeat that alarms us here at VitalWatford as the Hornets seemed to lack a back-up plan to the route 1 physical football that is, game- by-game, being found out by the opposition.

Yet Aidy still reckons he could take positives from the 2-1 reverse and told the official site "We`ll turn this around, I`m convinced about that and we`ll get to winning ways. There are enough things in that performance today [Saturday] to suggest this is only a blip"…

Sure, the VitalWatford boys reckon we can spot the 'positives` in this latest defeat as well Aidy…

We`re now 100% 'positive` we need a new left back to replace Jordan Stewart and it`s urgent!

We`re 100% 'positive` there`s no back-up plan to the big up and unders despite all this talk of changing the player`s 'mindset`.

We`re 'positive' that Williamson isn`t performing but is saved from the boo boys due to Mahon`s constant presense despite the fact that the skipper is one of our more reliable performers.

Boothroyd also added "I think we created plenty of chances so to lose the game is disappointing. We`ve had some great chances to win it and they need to be put in the net".

No we didn't Aidy...The City keeper was rarely troubled, Ellington came on and barely looke bothered and it could have been 5 to City had Poom not been at his best!
