Hornets to avoid change

Hornets to avoid change

Will the Good Ship Boothroyd ever learn his lessons? No seems to be the answer to the question on the lips of every Hornets.

According to several sources the 36 year-old Hornets supremo looks set to go with the same XI who were beaten by Bristol City on Saturday. Even the incentive of the Sky Cameras didn't raise the lacklustre Hornets and there appears to be no punishment for the failure.

This means that midfield muppet Gavin Mahon is set to partner Lee Williamson in the centre. Despite a recent spate of replacements for Gavin Mahon the captain has Boothroyd's support and looks set to keep John-Joe O'Toole and Damien Francis out the team.

Francis is believed to not yet be fit to start, but after his shock ommission from the bench on Saturday.

Lionel Ainsworth may even get a runout after having warmed the bench for the last couple of games but only from the bench. Jobi McAnuff looks set to continue down the left.

Up front the bungling duo of Marlon King and Darius Henderson are likely to get the nod over Nathan 'The Duke' Ellington and Tamas Priskin. The benched partnership are in need of game time, but Boothroyd seems set on his first-choice pairing in what is a crucial game in Essex.
