Alex the Loan Stone

Alex the Loan Stone

Hornets wideman Alessandro Campana has today joined Ryman Premier League side, Wealdstone on loan.

Campana has been a regular for the club's reserve side this season with six starts and two goals in the Pontin's Combination League.

Since graduating graduating from the clubs increasingly prestiguous academy two years ago the youngster has made three appearances for the club, all in the league cup, scoring onece, versus Gillingham this term.

With no fixtures for the ressies until January, Campana has moved out to gain first team experience and earn an extension to his contract which expires at the end of the season.

Here at VitalWatford Towers we have probably the biggest support of young Campana in his Doctorship of Watford who has called for him to be given a first-team chance of late.

Perhaps this loan spell will see Campana force his way into the reckoning on his return...
