Kammy : Watford will be up there

The lead might be cut to 2 points and Watford might have only picked up 4 points from the last 15 but Chris Kamara still reckons that Hornets are set for promotion. Unbelievable!

It`s been just 4 weeks since ex Luton Towner Kammy said 'The [Championship] title race is all over bar the shouting. Everybody is playing for second spot now' in full support of Aidy Boothroyd`s men.

And whilst the Glory Hornet faithful have started to ask questions of the Watford gaffer, after seeing his side leak more at the back than a cruiser liner stuck in the Antarctic, King of Championship Commentary Kamara still has faith in the Watford way.

On the Sky Sports website he said of the Watford Wobble 'They [Watford] are just going through a bad patch. It`s good to get it out of the way when you`re top of the table rather than when you`re trying to catch the top team. I`m surprised it has happened at Watford because they looked invincible when I saw them play at Crystal Palace'.

He went on to add 'He's [Boothroyd] a manager in a fantastic position going into January because he's got money available. The biggest thing you've got to take into consideration is that they're financially better off than any other team in that division.'

'A lot of people have backed them, myself included, and even though there is a long way to go yet I still fancy them.'

Ok, so it`s not so clear cut as being 'all over bar the shouting` but it`s good to see a pundit who`s prepared to stand by his word.
