'If It's Football, It's Vital'

'Watford best in League' says Coyle

Burnley boss Owen Coyle reckons Watford are "the best team in the Championship at the moment"…despite the fact that the Glory Hornet boys have only picked up 4 points from the last 12!

Speaking to the Lancashire Post, ahead of the clash at Fortress Vicarage tonight, Coyle heaped praise on the Hornets by stating that "they`re (Watford) not top of the league by accident, they`re top of the league on merit."

And unlike Boing Boing Tony Moybray, who spoke highly of Sir Aidy but tarnished his compliments with question marks over the Hornets style of play, the ex St Johnstone and Falkirk gaffers didn`t carry that hint of annoyance with Watford`s physical approach to Championship life.

He added "Watford will get our respect because of how they go about their business and the quality they have…They are big, strong and physical"

Coyle added "(all due to respect to Stoke but) Watford are a team that eveybody`s looking at. They know how to win football matches, they`ve got a style that`s effective and they`ve got some quality players in their team.'

Kind words indeed from Coyle…now just give us the 3 points and be done with it!
