Aidy : Tykes are an attacking force

Watford boss Aidy Boothroyd believes that Saturday`s clash with Barnsley at Oakwell will be a hard fought battle for the Hornets as the Tykes are an attacking force to be reckoned with!

Barnsley, who currently sit 10th in the table, have only lost once at home this season and have notched up 14 goals in front of the locals - a strike rate that is only bettered by West Brom and Ipswich above them.

On the official Watford club site, Sir Aidy said "They`ve got very attacking football players. They have got a mix of those lads who have come up through the lower leagues that have done well, a couple of battering rams and a little bit of flair in there as well, a little bit of foreign invasion.

He went on to note that whilst the Hornets away form has reaped more points than their showings at Fortress Vicarage, the league leaders will be there to be shot at in South Yorkshire, 'I know that if we're not right, they'll attack us and give us a problem so it'll be an interesting game. It'll be a very open game and they'll want the league leader's points. Simple as that.'
